A year ago I photographed a tiny and adorable newborn, Mateo. This past weekend, I was invited back to capture his christening/dedication at his family’s church. It was a lovely ceremony, made extra special because the pastor is Mateo’s grandfather! After that we proceeded to the party portion of the celebration. Here are a few photos from the day…
What celebration isn’t complete with a man in a chicken suit? Okay, he was the restaurant mascot, not a random chicken passerby.
The cotton candy machine was a huge hit with the kids… and some of the adults!
I can’t believe how big Mateo is now, the last time I saw him he was just teeny!

Thank you so much for allowing me to share in the celebration by photographing it! As ever, these were some incredibly well-behaved kids, and a warm and kind family to spend an afternoon with. Lots of fun!
