Jacqueline and Garrett had a lovely, intimate morning wedding in Calgary, with a brunch reception amongst family and friends. Sometimes I have a really long time (even as much as a year) between when I shoot an engagement session with a couple, and when I see them again on their wedding day. So it was kind of nice that I had so recently photographed these two for their engagement photos in Canmore. And even though it’s supposed to be springtime, the weather we had during their winter engagement photos was actually nicer than it was for their wedding day. We were contending with some pretty serious wind and blowing snow. But they were troopers!

Fortunately the church where their ceremony was held, St. Michael’s, has a beautiful interior with big windows. I just loved the vaulted ceiling and second level open to the ground floor:
