Calgary Fall Wedding Pictures | Confederation Park

Stacey and Dirk’s wedding was on a cold and blustery Calgary fall day — unlike their toasty warm engagement photo session. Here and there the sun came out and warmed everyone up briefly… before the wind started again. Not very important, except to note that the bride and ladies in sleeveless, short dresses really sucked it up and looked relaxed and warm for the photos! That is pretty amazing. My fingers were going numb, and I had a long-sleeved shirt and coat on. People are awesome. We did all of their family formals and portraits at Confederation Park, which was resplendent with fall foliage (how’s that for a description?). The matching orange flowers and green details matched an autumn wedding perfectly.

Aside from contending with the cold wind, it was a lovely wedding day, full of love and family, many of whom had come from the east coast to be there for the big day. Everyone was relaxed and happy and ready to celebrate. It was a pleasure to be a part of it and capture the day in their wedding photos. Here are a few of their pictures:
