It was a bitterly cold day in Canmore for Joran & Carolyn’s engagement photos. We went to the lovely Quarry Lake and to the Canmore Engine Bridge (built in 1892). Carolyn is a talented seamstress, she made the fabulous green coat she is wearing in these photos. I’m so glad these two were able to stand the cold, we had snow up to our knees and my glasses were fogging up like crazy — it’s not the most fun shooting around -15. Here are a few of the photos we took for their engagement session:
So looking forward to doing your wedding photography in Calgary in May! Thank you so much for tromping around in the snow with me.

Looks like somebody’s in love 😉
I’m so excited for you two.
From Frank:
Joran: the ring is supposed to go on Carolyn’s finger, not the tree…unless you are marrying the tree 🙂
Lovely!!!! The winter wonderland is so elegant. PS – Nice reindeer gloves, Joran 😉
Very, very beautiful! Congratulations Joran and Carolyn!! 🙂
