Ryan and Susan’s Calgary wedding was beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for nicer weather. Clear and sunny and warm the whole day. I think they have good weather luck, because for their engagement photos in October we also had excellent weather. Calgary Heritage Park Wedding

I absolutely loved the look for this wedding, Western-themed… and kind of awesome. The bridesmaids all wore cowboy boots (and so did the bride), and the groom and groomsmen were in jeans and western shirts. I think it looked fabulous. Emma and Brad are such a cute couple together. And organized! Emma contacted me a year ago to book a short session this month, the day of their wedding. I think doing photos before the wedding is such a great idea — you’re still fresh and composed for the photos. A lot of people are dropping the ‘groom not seeing the bride in her dress before the wedding’ tradition, but it’s personal choice….
