This past weekend here in Calgary was optimal for photos — fall leaves, and warm weather with beautiful sunshine. I had a number of photo sessions and was extremely glad the weather cooperated. During one shoot at Confederation Park, I counted at least six wedding parties there at the same time, each with their photographers in tow. Seriously, the place was swarming with newlyweds and their photographers, I’ve never seen anything quite like it. Even Riley Park on a Saturday didn’t quite match up with this. Wedding parties were lined up to take their turn, each waiting to shoot at scenic spots. The arched bridge was a popular spot that didn’t spend much time without a bride and a groom on it. Sunday was a bit quieter for the engagement session I did with Heather & Bryan. I wanted to share a few sneak peeks:
They are a gorgeous couple to photograph, and easy to get along with. I’m really looking forward to shooting their wedding in December, I think we’re all hoping we get a slightly different kind of weather — some pretty snow (but just a bit!). Thank you two for a great session!
These are lovely, love that fall light!
You do such wonderful work. These are excellent!
What a cute couple. You did a fantastic job!
These are beautiful!
