Ray & Aya – Engagement

Just as I write this post, it is currently snowing outside. Just like every year, my husband assures me that it’s more than late enough in the year for snow, and every year I stare at it as if it’s far too soon. So this weekend has been snowing and cold, but last week it was practically summertime; sunshine and 30 degrees. I’m really glad that Ray, Aya and I had our session last weekend.

I had such a hard time choosing a few images for the sneak peek, the two of them are so adorable, especially together.

Their wedding in Lake Louise next summer is going to be beautiful and I cannot wait to photograph it! Thank you two so much for coming out and toodling around the park with me.

  1. I get the impression you just need to put these two together and the smiles and love pour out naturally :~) Combined with some great image making skills you’ve got what you have here … a fantastic set of photographs!

  2. 30 degrees?! And that was the warm days? Wow… brrr! (I’m from AZ so I’m used to the warmth from the sun!)

Beautiful pictures! Love the first one, the body language shows their love. Great capture

  3. Great shoot. The earth tones come together so well in the images and the couple really connects well in the shots.

  4. Deborah: Yep! 30 degrees Celsius… which is pretty warm for the end of September! That equals 86 degrees F, so says the web converter. 🙂

  5. Stunning photos. The colors really look wonderful. So jealous you get to shoot a wedding in Lake Louise. I went there 5 years ago and almost did not come home!

  6. OH okay! I’m used to Fahrenheit… so I assumed thats what you were talking about. 86 degrees Fahrenheit sounds much nicer! 🙂

  7. My fav is the first big horizontal one! Love it. This is a great session. Happy to find you via SWPB.

  8. Beautiful moments captured.. Loved the first photo.. I am sure the clients loved your work too, amazing!
