New website, new wedding album
If you’ve been to my blog before, you may notice a small difference — I have changed URLs! Instead of photo.fernish.com, my site is now at redfernphotography.ca. The domain recently became available, so I made the switch. I also changed my hosting. It’s funny, things look exactly the same except for the URL change, but there was a lot of back-end work to make that happen.
As my inaugural post for the new digs, I thought I’d feature a few photos of an album I just received from my products and proofing partner, Pictage. I am super impressed with how beautiful and weighty this album is. Even though it only has 16 pages, it feels and looks substantial, and will make a beautiful heirloom for the bride and groom.
They chose a Sequoia book with a brushed metal cover, and a burgundy leather spine and back. I think it turned out really nice. It comes with a protective sticker on the metal front cover (which is what those blue shapes are). I’m leaving that for the clients to peel off. Here are some photos:
It comes in its own protective case, which will help keep it beautiful for years to come. There’s nothing quite like a professionally printed and bound album in this age of digital printing.
