Laureen & Dan Wedding | Calgary Fall Wedding Photos
Today was nothing like the gorgeous summer day on which I photographed Laureen and Dan for their engagement photos earlier this year. Today was cold, blustery, and had the distinction of being my last wedding for the season. Not that it wasn’t a beautiful wedding full of love and warmth — because it was, but the weather didn’t reflect that! I felt so bad for the bridesmaids in their light dresses, but they kept smiles on their faces throughout the chilly weather.
Anyway! Dan and Laureen are wonderful people who are a delight to work with, major congratulations to them both! Here are a few images from the day…
The wedding ceremony at Heritage Park was originally supposed to be outside, but it was simply too cold so it was moved indoors.
Dan is a firefighter, so there was a stop at a fire hall for some photo ops!
As with their engagement photos, Laureen and Dan pre-scouted some fabulous spots, including the gazebo and hilltop ruins in McKenzie Towne:
Floral design by Sarah Mayerson Design, love love love these arrangements.
Thank you both for a wonderful day — many wishes for a wonderful marriage together.
