Emma and Brad are such a cute couple together. And organized! Emma contacted me a year ago to book a short session this month, the day of their wedding. I think doing photos before the wedding is such a great idea — you’re still fresh and composed for the photos. A lot of people are dropping the ‘groom not seeing the bride in her dress before the wedding’ tradition, but it’s personal choice. Anyway! These two were easy to photograph, and quite in love. They decided on a Calgary landmark, the Rundle Ruins. I’ve shot here several times before, it’s a nice spot and I love those beautiful stone backdrops. It’s a small park very close to the Saddledome and the Calgary Stampede grounds, if you’ve never been. Here are a few photos from our hour together:
I love Emma’s choice of a wedding dress, in that lovely iridescent green. And we were so lucky that the blossoms were on the trees (springtime comes late to Calgary).
I hope you two are having a lovely honeymoon!
