The more wordy:
Hi! I’m Lisa Redfern, a photographer based in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, specializing in weddings and portraits. Before I was a photographer, I was a graphic designer. I consider myself a cheerful person who loves life and enjoys laughter. I have a fairly wide variety of geeky interests. I have a lovable, supportive husband and an adorable dog, I enjoy travel adventures, and I like sticking up for the little guy. People who know me describe me as very organized and having attention to detail, as well as funny (as in hilarious, rather than odd) and assertive… which may be a nice way of saying I am silly, yet bossy.

Here is some of the stuff I love. Here is some of the stuff in my camera bag.

I like parentheses and exclamation points and use them too much. Like a puppy, I just get excited about things! (See?)

I don’t take myself too seriously, and want every session to be a fun experience for myself and my subjects while striving to capture beautiful images that can be enjoyed for many years. The most frequent comment I get at the end of a shoot is “that was fun!”, which is exactly what I want people to be able to say. It should be a fun experience, and the photos should reflect the personalities of the people being photographed. I love photography that is crisp, colourful, and timeless.

If we’re on the same page and you’re interested in having me photograph your wedding or portrait, please get in touch!
