FAQ

Are you a member of any professional associations?
Yes, I am a member of the PPOC (Professional Photographers of Canada). In the past I have been a member of the PPA and CAPA.

What do you wear for the wedding?
A blouse, dark slacks, quiet shoes, and a nametag. Oh, and I am generally bedecked in cameras, too.

Describe the way you work.
Unobtrusive and spontaneous!

Can other people take photos while you do?
Absolutely! The only thing I ask is that guests who wish to take photos be respectful of me doing my job, and move or turn off camera flashes when I request they do so. This is an interesting blog post about the trend of ‘unplugged’ weddings: http://offbeatbride.com/2011/06/unplugged-wedding

What types of photos do you take., ie black and white, color, traditional etc?
I take a mix of candids and posed/formal, and I also add in some black and whites where appropriate. Additional digital work can be requested.

Do we get edited files that we can print?
Yes, absolutely you will get high-res digital photos that you can print up to 8×12 in size, as you choose.

Do you do engagement photos?
I do! An engagement session is included in the wedding package 6 hours and up, which is a really good opportunity for us to get comfortable with each other, and for couples to get used to being in front of the camera before their wedding day. Read about why I believe engagement photos are important.
